Sanger Lab Reptile Program for Kids

Students Katherine, Greta, and Adrianna designed a reptile program for kids meant to teach them about the science conducted in the Sanger Lab. Kids got to organize 3D printed lizard embryos in developmental order, dig around in the dirt to collect tic-tac “lizard eggs” to learn about how we take care of our research lizard colony, make connections between the adaptations of different reptiles in their environment, and guessed which skulls belong to each animal. If you are interested in having the Sanger Lab students run this reptile program at your organization, please contact Greta Keller at gkeller1@luc.edu.
