Sanger Lab students Katherine and Greta got the opportunity to present their research at the Society of Integrative and Comparative Biology (SICB) conference this past January.
NSF Career Award
I was recently awarded an NSF CAREER award titled, The Developmental Regulation of Amniote Skull Diversity. In this newly funded project, we will investigate how vertebrate skull diversity is established in the embryo. I am excited by where this science may lead, hiring a motivated post doc, and recruiting LUC undergraduate students to the project. Click for more details.
Sanger Lab Reptile Program for Kids
Sanger Lab students Katherine, Greta, and Adriana created a reptile program for kids with hands on activities like digging though dirt to collect lizard eggs to guessing the skulls of different animals.
